Ginninderry & Googong Missing Middle Housing

Canberra Region, Australia | In collaboration with CHC Architects

As an Architectural Consultant, I contributed remotely from South Africa to the technical development and coordination of construction documentation for a series of medium-density residential developments within the Ginninderry and Googong communities. These projects form part of Australia’s “Missing Middle” housing initiative, which promotes well-designed, human-scaled neighbourhoods that bridge the gap between detached housing and high-density apartment living.

My role focused on translating design intent into coordinated, buildable construction documentation in close collaboration with the Australian design and delivery teams. The work required a high level of technical precision, coordination, and responsiveness to ensure design quality was maintained through to construction execution.

This project demonstrates the ability to contribute effectively to complex residential developments across geographical and time-zone boundaries while maintaining clarity, consistency, and buildability in documentation.
